Darcy is an introvert who loves talking with interesting people—as long as she can come home and curl up with a book afterward. A lifelong story-spinner, she started serious fiction writing in 2013 and published her first novel, a young adult medieval adventure, five years later. Historical fiction is her favorite genre, both to read and to write, possibly due to consistent exposure in childhood. Although adventure is her stories’ focus, somehow an element of romance always slips in. At six years old, she began a journey walking with Jesus. Although she’s still figuring out how to do it right, she has no doubt it’s the best decision she ever made.
